Learn More About BHEC…

  • Practical Learning.

Though we value traditional studies, we also believe that children should have the opportunity to study practical life skills such as raising food/gardening, nature studies, budgeting, and time management. Our goal is not to mimic traditional schooling, but to offer an alternative where children can thrive in a more hands on learning environment, all supporting the work you do at home as homeschoolers.

Additionally, we invite students to share their interests as we tailor our practical learning units to their interests.

**Laptops may be used for math curriculum and some research projects but otherwise electronics with not be utilized at BHEC. We love books and learning how to find the answers we need in ways other than google searches!

  • Traditional Studies.

  • Kindergarten - 6th Grade

It all begins with an idea and someone who believes in it. Maybe you want to homeschool but don’t know where to start. Here, we believe that the traditional Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm schedule isn’t for everyone, and we are excited to offer small group sizes - no more than 10 - 14 children per classroom. Currently offering grades K- 6.

We will be inside and outside each day, learning by doing. In choosing BHEC, you can be confident that your child will not be sitting behind a desk. They will be exploring topics that interest them, creating lasting friendships, and studying the core subjects (and more), in ways that most traditional schools cannot offer.
